Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2023 seeking appointment to petitioner's son Akilan under compassionate ground for the death of the petitioner's wife Jayakanthi occurred due to Corona on 05.09.2020 who worked at Anganwadi Center at Kolathur within the limit of Chithamur, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpet District administrated under the control of Integrated Child Development Project. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2023 seeking appointment to the petitioner's son, viz., Akilan, under compassionate ground for the death of the petitioner's wife, viz., Jayakanthi, occurred due to Corona on 05.09.2020, who worked at Anganwadi Center at Kolathur within the limit of Chithamur, Cheyyur Taluk, Chengalpet District administrated under the control of Integrated Child Development Project.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.05.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
There shall be no order as to costs.
