ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion as Assistant General Manager of Periya Kanchiuram Co-operative Town Bank Limited Orikai Branch, Kanchipuram in the light of the representation dated 15.05.2023 and promote him as sGeneral Manager of the said Bank within a limited time frame as fixed by this Court

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that his promotion has been deferred due to the pendency of a criminal case. However, the criminal case has ended in acquittal. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation dated 14.04.2023 and on 15.05.2023 to consider his representation and to place him in the original seniority. However, the same has not been considered by the respondent till date. Hence, the 2/5

present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is suffice if a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass Order on the same.

4. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.04.2023 and 15.05.2023 and pass Orders on the same within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
