O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to direct the 2nd respondent to produce the detenue, namely, Kalaivani, aged about 35 years, before this Court and to set her at liberty.

It has been stated that the detenue, the wife of the petitioner, had gone missing, from 03.04.2016. As she had not returned thereafter, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondents 1 and 2, on 16.04.2016, by post. Since no effective https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
steps had been taken by the respondents 1 and 2 to trace the detenue, the petitioner had preferred the present Habeas Corpus Petition. 3.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, had submitted that the complaint, said to have been lodged by the petitioner, on 16.04.2016, by post, would be looked into and necessary steps would be taken, if it had been received by the respondents 1 and 2. It has also been submitted that the detenue suspected to have eloped with the 3rd respondent.

In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondents, we are of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
