O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, praying that, this Court may be pleased to direct the respondent to produce the detenue, namely, Sivagami, wife of the petitioner, aged about 28 years, before this Court and to set her at liberty. 2.

It has been stated that the wife of the petitioner had gone missing, from 02.09.2015. Therefore, the petitioner had lodged a complaint, before the respondent, on 03.09.2015 and it had been given CSR.No.335 of 2015, dated 08.09.2015. However, as no effective steps had been taken by the respondent ,to trace the wife of the petitioner, the petitioner had preferred the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted, on instructions, that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint lodged by the petitioner, on 03.09.2015 in CSR.No.335 of 2015, would be looked into and appropriate steps would be taken to trace the detenue, in accordance with law.

In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appearing on behalf of the respondent, we are of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
