This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned proceedings of the third respondent, dated 21.03.2023 and for a direction to the third respondent to permit the petitioners to participate in the festival at Maha Mariamman temple.

2. Heard Mr.C.Sivanesan, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 to 6.

3. This Court has already dealt with the issue in W.P.No.21470 of 2023 and passed an order on 20.07.2023. The said order will enure in favour of every one and it will be strictly followed by all the official respondents. The proceedings of the third respondent, dated 21.03.2023 shall be superseded by the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.21470 of 2023 and it will be complied with by all concerned.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is also disposed off in terms of the order passed in W.P.No.21470 of 2023, dated 20.07.2023. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 3/5
