The Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2016 in accordance with law and for further directions.

When the matter is called today, it is represented by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the 2nd respondent that the representation of the petitioner has already been considered and the same has been rejected and he has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.2680/2016/Aa2 dated 20.09.2016 in this regard. 3.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is closed since nothing survives in the writ petition. However, it is open for the petitioner to challenge the said order of the 2nd respondent dated 20.09.2016, if he is so aggrieved. No costs.
