O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by M.JAICHANDREN,J) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, by the wife of the detenu, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondent police to produce her husband, namely, Ram Ganesh, before this Court, and to pass further orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. The petitioner has stated that her husband, namely, Ram Ganesh, had been mentally disturbed and he has been undergoing psychiatric treatment, for about three months. He had gone missing from 22.02.2015. Therefore, the mother-in-law of the petitioner, namely, Gunawathy, had lodged a complaint before the respondent police, on 24.02.2015. Since, no effective steps have been taken, by the respondent police, to trace the detenu, the petitioner has preferred the present Habeas Corpus Petition, before this Court.

Mr.V.Balamurugane, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent, had submitted, on instructions, that all necessary steps would be taken to trace the detenu, namely, Ram Ganesh, based on the complaint lodged by the mother-in-law of the petitioner, on 24.02.2015, and the matter would be followed in accordance with law.

4. In view of the said submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent, we are of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
