This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 367 days in filing the appeal as against the order dated 12.10.2023 made in M.A.C.T.O.P.No.6068 of 2017 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, in the IV Court of Small Causes, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.D.Nitin, learned counsel representing Mr.S.S.Santhosa Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent.

3. The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this petition stands ordered and consequently, the delay of 367 days in filing the above appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the petitioners will not be entitled to any interest for the delay period i.e., for 367 days, in the appeal.

4. Registry is directed to number the appeal, if it is otherwise in order and post the case for admission in due course.
