PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing second respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of petitioners dated 2.3.2026 and permit petitioners to carry out joint fishing operation in the Panchapalli Chinnaru Dam (reservoir) under the control of first respondent as per the allotment order in Se.Mu.Aa.No.1653/E/2025 dated 26.8.2025 on the file of first respondent granting lease right for fishing in favour of third respondent society. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to second respondent to consider and pass orders on representation of petitioners dated 02.03.2026 and permit petitioners to carry out joint fishing operation in the Panchapalli Chinnaru Dam (reservoir) under the control of first respondent as per the allotment order in Se.Mu.Aa.No.1653/E/2025 dated 26.8.2025 on the file of first respondent granting lease right for fishing in favour of third respondent society.

2. At the outset, it was submitted by learned State Counsel for respondents 1 and 2 that they would consider petitioners' representation dated 02.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by learned counsel for petitioners.

3. In view thereof, there shall be a direction to second respondent, to consider petitioners representation dated 02.03.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioners, fourth respondent and any other interested party, within a period of two weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case.

4. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
