ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, which is challenging the order of transfer of the petitioner, while he was working as Assistant, it was informed to this Court by the first respondent that during the pendency of the writ petition, the learned counsel for the first respondent has produced the proceedings of the Registrar of the Periyar University, Periyar Palkalai Nagar, Salem, in PU/R6/Estt/025906/2015, dated 31.12.2015 wherein, it is stated that the petitioner has been promoted as Superintendent.

2. In view of promotion of Superintendent of the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Hence, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
