Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bahratiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying to modify the condition in order dated 23.06.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.17765 of 2025 that the petitioner shall donate a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) to the credit of the Ray of Light Foundation, A/c.No.50100078904233, IFSC Code - HDFC0001864 ; No.10, Nageswara Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600 034; Phone No.8939065431.

O R D E R

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.17765 of 2025 dated 23.06.2025 that "the petitioner shall donate a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) to the credit of the Ray of Light Foundation, A/c.No.50100078904233, IFSC Code - HDFC0001864 ; No.10, Nageswara Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600 034; Phone No.8939065431".

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is a daily wage earner and is unable to denote a huge amount of Rs.1,00,000/-. Therefore, he is in judicial custody from 07.06.2025.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the condition imposed as against the petitioner is modified to the effect that "the petitioner shall donate a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) to the credit of the Ray of Light Foundation, A/c.No.50100078904233, IFSC Code - HDFC0001864 ; No.10, Nageswara Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600 034; Phone No.8939065431. The other conditions shall remain intact.
