ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Sessions Judge (Mahila Court) at Chengalpattu to dispose the Crl.M.P.No.146 of 2015 in S.C.No.141 of 2013.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. Pursuant to the order dated 08.11.2016 passed by this Court, the Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu has sent a report dated 17.11.2016, a reading of which, shows that the de facto complainant has filed Crl.M.P.No.146 of 2016 in S.C.No.141 of 2013 for further investigation and is adopting dilatory tactics on one specious ground or the other. This is undoubtedly causing prejudice to the accused also.

4. Under such circumstances, the Sessions Judge, Mahila https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Court, Chengalpattu is directed to dispose of the Crl.M.P.No.146 of 2016 within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, immaterial of whether the counsel for the de facto complainant co-operates. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
