Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body of the detenue of petitioner's daughter Mahalakshmi, aged about 16 years, now under the custody of the third respondent and set the detenue at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the daughter of the petitioner by name Mahalaxmi, aged about 16 years, before this Court, stating that she has been illegally detained by the third respondent.

2.After notice, today, the detenue was produced before us. We have perused the record and as per the Birth Certificate, her date of birth is 26.03.2000, and she is a minor only 16 years https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

old. When enquired the detenue, she has stated that she already married the third respondent, but now she is willing to go along with her parents. The petitioner, who is her mother, present in the Court, also willing to take her back to the parental home. 3.Since the detenue is a minor and she expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner, recording her statement, she is permitted to go along with the petitioner, and the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
