Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records relating to the detention order dated 20.09.2021 passed by the second respondent in his proceedings No.C.M.P.No.84/I.T.O/Salem City/2021 and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the petitioner's husband viz., Leshli, son of Chakko, aged about 35 years, (who is presently undergoing detention in the Central Prison, Salem), before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.M.P.No.84/I.T.O/Salem City/2021 dated 20.09.2021 detaining her husband as "Immoral Traffic Offender", as contemplated under Section 2(g) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.5761, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 26.11.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
