ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.36 of 2017 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Salem, filed for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b) and 353 of IPC and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women (Amendment) Act, 2002.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent submitted that all the eight witnesses cited by the prosecution have been examined. Hence, he prayed for the dismissal of the quash petition.

3.In view of the above submission, this Court is not inclined to entertain the quash petition at this advance stage of trial. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
