Writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for the issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 04.10.2023 and 15.05.2024 and pass orders to withdraw the package/unit wise tenders for the maintenance of parks and direct the respondents to issue separate tender for each park in order to participate all clause of small contractors like the petitioners and call for open tenders as per the procedure laid down under Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and Rules 2000 and pass such further or other order and thus render justice. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners seeking direction to respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners

dated 04.10.2023 and 15.05.2024 and pass orders to withdraw the package/unit wise tenders for the maintenance of parks and to direct the respondents to issue separate tender for each park in order to participate all clause of small contractors like the petitioners and call for open tenders as per the procedure laid down under the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act, 1998 and Rules 2000. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents and this court has perused the counter affidavit filed by the fourth respondent. 3.It is submitted by both sides that the tender has been finalised and work orders have also been issued. In such view of the matter, nothing further survives to adjudicate the matter in the writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
