ORDER
The petition is filed to quash the criminal complaint pending investigation on the file of Neelangarai Police Station in Crime No.118 of 2023. The petitioners, who are the accused in this case submitted that 1/4
after registration of the complain,t they have entered into a compromise with the complainant. In pursuant to the terms of the compromise, a sum of Rs.7,50,000/- has been paid to the complainant on undertaking that the complaint will be withdrawn.
2. This Court after hearing the learned counsels for the petitioners and the defacto complainant and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), dispose of this Criminal Original Petition with a direction to the parties to appear before the first respondent police on 16.07.2024 and report the compromise as reflected in the memo dated 24.03.2023. On such report, the first respondent police shall record the memo of compromise entered between the parties and the complaint be closed as settled.
