ORDER

The present Criminal Appeal is filed to call for the records and set aside the conviction passed in the judgment dated 29.09.2021 against this appellant by the learned Assistant Session Judge, Additional Special Court for Trial of Criminal cases relating to Elected M.Ps. and M.L.As, Singaravellar Maligai, Chennai - 600 001.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant filed a Memo dated 12.07.2024 stating that the petitioner passed away on 09.02.2022 and the legal heirs of the appellant not inclined to pursue the matter. -2-

3. The Memo filed by the learned counsel for the appellant is taken on record. In view of the demise of the appellant, this Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
