This writ petition has been filed for issue of writ of mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 14.12.2024, wherein, the petitioner has sought for taking necessary steps to carbon dated the idol of Lord Bala Murugan in Arulmighu Mariamman and Mundhi Vinayagar Temple situated at Puliyankulam, Coimbatore. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of respondent produced the written instructions received from the 3rd respondent. On going through the same, it is

3/5 seen that the representation made by the petitioner has already been acted upon and a decision had been taken.

3.In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to respond the representation made by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
