The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent dated 27.07.2016, to quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the dance programme which is scheduled to be held on 13.08.2016 at Sri Selvamariamman Kovil Kalairangam near Mariamman Temple, situate at Vennanthur Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District.

2. The date fixed for conducting the dance programme on 13.08.2016 has been lapsed. Hence, the prayer sought for in this petition is infructuous and this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
