Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to issue patta in respect of S.F.Nos.30/1B1, 30/1b2, 30/1C1 and 30/1C2 situate at S.Narayur Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District, measuring an extent of 0.90.00 acres or 2.22 acres, as per application No.2024/0103/18/283999, dated 01.04.2024 and on the representation dated 15.04.2024 made by the petitioner.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to issue patta in the name of the petitioner in respect of the land situated in S.F.Nos. 30/1B1, 30/1b2, 30/1C1 and 30/1C2 situate at S.Narayur Village, Veppur Taluk, Cuddalore District, by considering her application No.2024/0103/18/283999, dated 01.04.2024 and representation dated 15.04.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, her father Raju purchased the above property vide sale deed dated 22.02.1991. It is further claimed by the petitioner that her father and mother already died and she has been in possession and enjoyment of the property. Accordingly, she submitted an application as well as representation seeking issuance of patta in her name and the same has not been considered till date.

3. Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the representation of the 2/4

petitioner will be considered on merits within a time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.04.2024 and pass final orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
