Respondent PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act 1971 to take cognizance of the contempt committed by the respondent in willfully disobeying the orders of the High Court passed in Crl.R.C.No.1070 of 2021, dated 27.01.2022 and punish the respondent for committing and continuing to commit contempt of the court's order.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner for committing wilful disobedience of the order passed by this court dated 27.01.2022 in Crl.R.C.No.1070 of 2021.

2. This Court, by order dated 27.01.2022 disposed of the Crl.R.C.No.1070 of 2021 with a direction. The operative portion of the order is extracted hereunder;

'12. This court is of the opinion that prima facie case is made out for registration of the case. In view of the above, the criminal revision stands allowed. The order dated 09.09.2021 made in CMP.No.1746 of 2021 passed by the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram is set aside. The respondent shall conduct preliminary enquiry and collect the medical records from the Hindu Mission Hospital and thereafter register a case and proceed further in accordance with law.

13. With the above direction, the criminal revision is disposed of. '

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) submitted that in pursuance of the abovesaid direction given by this Court, the respondent police, upon investigation, filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate I, Tambaram and the case has been taken on file in C.C.No.60 of 2023.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side) this Contempt Petition is closed.
