ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The writ petition is filed for a direction to the third and fourth respondents to dispose of Petitioner's representation dated 02.11.2016.
3. The allegation of the petitioner is that excess of land is in possession of the respondents 8, 9 and 10 and therefore, he made a representation dated 02.11.2016 to the respondent officials but no action was taken. Subsequently, he made another representation dated 17.07.2024 to the respondent officials, despite that, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
4. Learned Government Advocate would submit that the petitioner is relying on the representation dated 02.11.2016 but the petitioner has also 3/7
made a representation dated 17.07.2024.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer as sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we are inclined to direct the competent authority, namely the third or fourth respondent, to consider the representation dated 17.07.2024 and pass orders, in accordance with law, as early as possible, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall send a copy of the representation dated 17.07.2024 to the respondent officials.
6. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
