At the time of filing the Crl.A.No.216 of 2021, Criminal Miscellaneous Petition was filed to suspend the sentence of imprisonment and to grant bail. Accordingly, this Court by order dated 28.04.2023 had granted suspension of sentence stipulating conditions that the Accused/Appellant had to surrender within three months before the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act, Chennai, and to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.

25,000/- with two sureties for the like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act, Chennai. The Petitioner's surety shall affix their photographs and left thumb impression in the surety bond along with a copy of the Aadhaar Card or any other identity card to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID Act, Chennai.

2.In continuation of the same, this Petitioner filed Crl.M.P.No.12458 of 2023 seeking extension of time on the ground that the Petitioner has to undergo review treatments as per the advice of the doctors as stated in the discharge summary. When the learned Counsel for the Appellant seeks extension of time, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would vehemently object to grant time.

3.Considering the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has to undergo review treatments as per the advice of the doctors, three months time is granted from today including payment of entire fine amount before the learned Special Judge, Special Court under TNPID (in F.E.)
