ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2023 for inclusion of the petitioner's wife name Kalaiselvi in his Service Register Book 1/4

2. It is the case of the writ petitioner that he is appointed as a Selection Grade Conductor on 24.10.1996 and working in the respondent Corporation. While so, he married one Mrs.Jayanthi on 06.09.1998 and their marriage was dissolved by a decree of divorce dated 09.10.2003 in HMOP.No.1 of 2003 before the Sub Court, Ariyalur. Further, he married one Mrs.Kalai Selvi and out of their wedlock, he is blessed with three children. Hence, he has given representation seeking to include the second wife Mrs.Kalai Selvi, instead of the first wife on 26.04.2023, which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Admittedly, the facts of the present case are not in dispute. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.04.2023 and pass appropriate order(s) on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the first wife namely Mrs.Jayanthi within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
