O R D E R

Heard Mr.C.Veeraraghavan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.K.Rameshwar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 to 4 and Mr.R.Nalliyappan, the learned counsel for 5th respondent.

2. The petitioner has approached this Court, seeking the following relief:- "To issue a a writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider the representation dated 21.05.2016 sent by the petitioner and direct the 1st respondent to not to provide service connection to the 5th respondent herein."

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for 5th respondent would submit that the 5th respondent had not applied any service connection and therefore, the question of issuance of the said direction does not arise at all.

4. Recording the statement made on behalf of 5th respondent, this Court is of the considered view that nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition and therefore, the same is closed. No costs.
