Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent herein to take up O.A.Nos.10 and 11 of 2008 and 30 of 2012 pending on his files for hearing on dayto-day basis and dispose of the same within a specific time frame.

Alleging that the private respondents No.3 and 4 filed applications in O.A.Nos.10 and 11 of 2008 and 30 of 2012 before the 2nd respondent and the same are pending for consideration https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the 2nd respondent and the fit person appointed to administer the temples of Arulmigu Chenraya Perumal Temple, Arulmigu Vageswran Temple and Arulmigu Kariya Kaliyam temple in Patalur village, Anthiyur Taluk, Erode District, could not look after the affairs of the temples, the petitioner filed the writ petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the same within a reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4.

3. Taking into consideration of the pendency of the applications in O.A.Nos.10 and 11 of 2008 and 30 of 2012 from 2008 and 2012 respectively, respondent No.2 is directed to dispose of the same within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned.
