Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct the survey and mark the boundaries of the petitioner's land comprised in Survey No.353/2, Mopiripalayam Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District at the earliest.

2.The petitioner claims that she along with her mother Valliammal and sister Rukumaniammal are the absolute owners of the property admeasuring to an extent of 1.92 acres or 0.76.00 hectares in S.No.353/2, Mopiripalayam Village, Sulur Taluk, Coimbatore District and claims to be in joint possession and enjoyment of the same, ever since the purchase in the year 1918. According to the petitioner, boundaries of the said property are not clear and therefore, a joint application was made to the respondents on 19.09.2015 requesting them to survey and mark the boundaries and necessary fees have also been paid. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that despite, very many personal representations, no orders have been passed and hence, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.S.N.Kirubanandam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.Though, the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 19.09.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned, if any, and pass orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
