Contempt petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, praying to punish the respondent for their gross willful and deliberate disobedience to comply with the orders of this Hon'ble Court dated 01.02.2019 in W.P.No.3146 of 2019.

For Petitioner : Mr.A.Ganesan For Respondent : Mr.R.S.Selvam Government Advocate Sub Appl.No.411 of 2019 To direct the respondents to comply with the order of this Hon'ble Court passed in W.P.No.3146 of 2018 dated 01.02.2019 to consider the petitioners representation dated 02.08.2018 to restore the original seniority by placing his name below to the name of Thiru.Uma Sakthi, Deputy Transport Commissioner and above to the name of Thiru.D.Venkataraman, Deputy Transport Commissioner and promote him to the post of Deputy Transport Commissioner from the date on which his immediate Junior. Thiru D.Venkataraman was promoted as Deputy Transport Commissioner i.e. on 20.07.2018 in G.O.Ms.No.772 Home (Tr II) Department dated 20.07.2018.

ORDER

This contempt petition is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 01.02.2019 made in W.P.No.3146 of 2019.

2.It is represented that the order dated 01.02.2019 passed by this Court in W.P.No.3146 of 2019, which is the subject matter of contempt has been complied with.

3.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected sub application is also closed.
