Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a direction in the nature of Writ of Declaration, declaring that the entire acquisition proceedings commenced by the issue of Notification under Section 15(1) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) in G.O.Ms.No.155, Highways and Minor ports (HF-2) dated 12th December 2014 published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.50 dated 31.12.2014 and the Award passed by the third respondent in Award No.3 of 2017 dated 17.03.2017 in so far as the petitioner's land is concerned in Survey No.972/1B1B measuring 00010 sq.mtrs, 968/2A measuring 00200 sq.mtrs, 972/3B measuring 02541 sq.mtrs, 972/2B1B measuring 00795 sq.mtrs and 968/1B2B measuring 00145 sq.mtrs, in all measuring 3691 sq.mtrs in No.91, Kundrathur Village, now Pallavaram Taluk, (previously Sriperumpudhur Taluk) Kancheepuram Distirct has become invalid and consequentially directing the respondents to return the above mentioned lands to the petitioner and pass such further orders.

Today, 13.06.2024, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition, and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.
