Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, seeking for a direction in the form of writ, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation letter dated 08.05.2023 and to disclose the Loan Statement and the Balance amount of House loan of petitioner's husband K.N.Nageswaran (EMP 193156).

ORDER

Mr.P.Anandakumar, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction in the form of writ, directing the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation letter dated 08.05.2023 and to disclose the Loan Statement and the Balance amount of House loan of petitioner's husband K.N.Nageswaran (EMP 193156).

3.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband, who was served as Junior Assistant in Police Department, had availed the housing loan of a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- through the scheme of "Housing Loan of Government Servant for Construction of House" from the 4th respondent in the year 2009 and determined to repay the same as EMI of Rs.3,500/- per month for a period of 145 months. 4.At this juncture, in the year 2017, the petitioner's husband had met with an accident and undergone long absentee, due to which his monthly salary was stopped. Hence, he approached the Police Authorities to ascertain the balance amount of the aforesaid loan and also made representations dated 15.03.2023, 11.04.2023 and 21.04.2023 before the respondents 2, 3, 4 and 5 with regard to the same. However, the respondents did not considered the said representations.

5. Further, it was submitted that the petitioner's husband was died on 22.04.2023. Thereafter, the petitioner had made a representation 3/6

dated 08.05.2023 before the respondents 1 to 5. However, no reply were given by the respondents. Hence, this writ petition has been filed. 6.In reply, Mr.P.Anandakumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that considering the facts and circumstances of the case, an appropriate order may be passed by this Court.

7.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents and also perused the materials available on record.

8.Upon considering the above submissions, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2023 and provide appropriate details within a period 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4/6

9.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
