Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure to direct the Principal District Sessions Judge cum Special Judge for SC/ST Act Cases, Thanjavur to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner in connection with P.R.C.No.29/2013 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mannargudi, Thiruvarur District, on his surrender on the same day on sympathetic ground. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Principal District Sessions Judge cum Special Judge for SC/ST Act Cases, Thanjavur to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner in connection with P.R.C.No.29/2013 on the file of Judicial Magistrate No.II, Mannargudi, Thiruvarur District, on his surrender on the same day on sympathetic ground.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been implicated in this case for the alleged offences under Sections 147, 148, 448, 294(B), 323, 324 & 149 IPC and 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and The Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act 1989, Amendment 2015 and that in view of the specific bar under Section 18 of the said Act, the petitioner cannot move any anticipatory bail application and therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the said prayer.
