ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The petitioners claim that they are the heirs of late Mohammed Hashim and have approached the 2nd respondent for issuance of a legal heir certificate upon the demise of Mohammed Hashim. This was rejected and hence the petitioners are before this Court. The learned counsel also added that the 1st respondent has issued necessary N.O.C. to the 2nd respondent. 3.Mr.S.J.Mohamed Sathik, the learned Government Advocate takes notice for both the respondents. The learned counsel made a statement on instruction that the application of the petitioners came to be rejected because there was a confusion vis-a-vis the address of the petitioners, in the application they have given two different addresses at two different places. 4.This Court now sets aside the order of the 2nd respondent and sends the matter back to him, who will now give the petitioners an opportunity to explain and pass 2/4

appropriate speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
