Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner representation dated 04.06.2013 and consequently directing the Respondent to handover the Release Deed in Doc.No.P-51/2013 which is pending before the Respondent.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of writ of mandamus, directing to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.06.2013 and consequently direct the respondent to handover the release deed in Doc.No.P-51/2013.

2. The case of the petitioner is that her father had purchased the property measuring an extent of 1008 square feet by a sale deed dated 19.06.1990 registered as Doc.No.3115/1990 on the file of the respondent. The petitioner further states that her father passed away on 13.05.2004 and thereafter, his legal heirs sold the land to an of extent of 304 square feet to one Mr.Vedhachalam, by a register sale deed.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that for the remaining land the other legal heirs have released their right in favour of the petitioners and the same was registered on 22.02.2013 in Doc.No.P-51/2013. However it was not hand over to the petitioner so far.

4. Mr.R.Perumal Samy, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted it would suffice, if a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2013.

5. Mr. V. Shanmuga Sundar, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.

6. In the light of the above submissions, this court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2013 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No Costs.
