This Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,issuance a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the respondents in connection with the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in letter No. 24172/Pol.II/ 2014/2 dated 19.8.14 and 2nd respondent in RC No. Con.II(1)/ 85857/2013 dated 28.8.14 and quash the same.

J U D G M E N T
(Judgment of the Court was pronounced by K.K.SASIDHARAN,J) The learned Single Judge taking into account the pendency of the Criminal Appeal filed against the judgment in C.C.No.5/2004 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Karur, directed the appellants to keep the disciplinary proceedings pending without passing final orders till the disposal of the writ petition. Being aggrieved by the same, the appellants have come up with the Intra Court Appeal.

When the Writ Appeal is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel for the respondent, on instructions, submitted that after the disposal of the Criminal Appeal, the appellants imposed the punishment of reversion. The said order was challenged before the Writ Court in W.P.No.6343/2017. The learned Single Judge by order dated 21.3.2018 directed the appellants to consider the matter afresh. According to the learned Counsel, in view of the subsequent events, nothing survives for adjudication in the Intra Court Appeal.
