PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records and quash the criminal proceedings pending before the file of 1st respondent in Crime No.988 of 2022 dated 16.12.2022 for the offense under Sections 406, 420 and 447 IPC against the petitioner who is arrayed as 4th Accused.

This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.988 of 2022 pending investigation before the 1st respondent. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation has already been completed and the draft final report is also ready and the same will be filed before the concerned jurisdictional Court. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that there are totally five accused persons in this case and the petitioner has been ranked as A4 and that the final report is going to be filed only as against A1 and the names of the other accused persons is going to be dropped.

4.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this criminal original petition is disposed of with and a direction to the respondent 2/4

police to file the final report, within a period of four weeks before the concerned jurisdictional Court.
