The present Sub-application has been filed by the petitioner seeking to reopen the Contempt petition No.1697 of 2024.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, though, this court, vide order dated 28.06.2024 closed the above contempt petition by recording the submission of the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor that the order under contempt has been complied with, however, it is not so, and only an enquiry notice was issued and till date the order under contempt has not been complied with by the respondent.

3. Per contra, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent/contemnor submitted that, the order under contempt has been complied with, vide order dated 26.09.2024 and the same was passed after conducting appropriate enquiry, by affording opportunity to the petitioner and a copy of the said proceedings/order was also produced before this Court today.

4. In view of the above, this Court is of the view that, there is no wilful disobedience on the part of the respondent/contemnor and accordingly, this Sub application stands closed.
