ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by the Ho'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent over the water channel existing at SF No.180, Pandiyankuppam Village, Chinnasalem Taluk and Kallakurichi District, by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.05.2024 and 09.06.2024, within the time fixed by this Court.

2. Mr.K.Karthik Jagannath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 and 2 and submitted that the representations of the petitioner will be considered by the authorities concerned and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with law, within a time, as fixed by this Court.

3. Considering the limited scope of prayer and also taking into

account the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, we inclined to pass the following order.

i) The first and second respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.05.2024 and 09.06.2024 and take action in accordance with law, as early as possible within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
