ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by V.Bharathidasan, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to produce the petitioner's son by name Mr.Balu aged about 21 years, before this Court who was under the illegal custody of the respondents 5 & 6 and set him at liberty and hand over his custody to the petitioner herein. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and we have also perused the records carefully.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that in respect of the complaint of the petitioner, a case in Crime No.37 of 2016 was registered by the respondent Police on 07.05.2016 for "man missing" and the investigation is going on in this case. Since the respondent is already registered a crime for man missing and investigating the matter, we direct the respondent to proceed with the investigation and find out the whereabouts of the son of the petitioner by name Balu, expeditiously.

4.With the above observation, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
