ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to pass orders in respect of the enquiry report pertaining to Charge Sheet in Memo R.No.1917/A2/2012 dated 18.06.2013 on the file of the 3rd respondent.
2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has been issued with Charge Memorandum on 18.06.2013 and thereafter, the respondents appointed an Enquiry Officer and Domestic Enquiry was conducted. The Enquiry Report has already been filed on 02.04.2024 for which, the petitioner has also given further representations on 04.07.2024 and 15.07.2025. In spite of receipt of further representations on the Enquiry Report, the Disciplinary Authority has not passed any order since 2024. Hence prayed to interfere with the same.
3. At this juncture, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would fairly submit that they would pass final orders within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel on either side and also perused the materials available on record.

In view of fair submissions made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going to the merits of the writ petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the 1st respondent to pass final orders upon the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, based upon the Charge Sheet dated 18.06.2013 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, according to its own merits and in accordance with law.
6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition stands closed. 10.07.2025 ssi Index : Yes Speaking Order : Yes /No 3/5
