ORDER

Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 05.06.2025, the petitioner has effected paper publication in one issue of "Dinamalar, Coimbatore Edition, dated 14.06.2025. Therefore, the respondent is called absent and set exparte.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The petitioner is the wife and defendant in O.S. No. 61 of 2024 on the file of the Family Court, Coimbatore. The said proceedings were initiated by the respondent/husband. The petitioner seeks transfer of the said suit from the Family Court, Coimbatore, to the Family Court, Nagercoil, where she presently resides.

4. I have gone through the affidavit filed in support of the petition. The petitioner has assigned genuine and acceptable reasons for being unable to attend the hearings at Coimbatore.

5. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has made out a case for transfer of the suit, as prayed for.

6. Accordingly, the Tr. C.M.P. No.783 of 2024 is allowed and the suit in O.S.No.61 of 2024 pending on the file of Family Court, Coimbatore is withdrawn and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Nagercoil.

7. The Family Court, Coimbatore is directed to send the entire records relating to O.S.No.61 of 2024 to Family Court, Nagercoil forthwith.

8. The Family Court, Nagercoil is directed to take up the O.S.No.61 of 2024 and dispose of the same expeditiously, in a manner known to law. No costs.
