ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 26.03.2025 and to grant lease for fishing rights in Arapathery, Ayyanery, Sekkaueri, Vilachsiyam Pakkam Eri, Muthuputhupettai Eri, Thanurai Peria Eri, Kovil Pathagai Eri, Mittanamalli Eri and Paruthipattu Eri under the jurisdiction of Avadi Inland Fishermen Co-operative Society FMCS-8 based on the order passed by this Court in a batch of cases in W.P.No.6819/2023 etc. dated 21.06.2023.

2. Heard Mr.S.Senthilnathan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.E.Veda Bagath Singh, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4

case and the grounds raised by the petitioner and also taking note of the earlier order passed by this Court in a batch of cases in W.P.No.6819/2023 etc. dated 21.06.2023, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner and take a decision and convey the same to the petitioner within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
