This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner in respect of the complaint given by one Uma.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a complaint given by one Uma petition enquiry in CSR No.501 of 2016 is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
