This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioner in respect of a Civil Dispute.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. On a complaint given by one Hemapriya petition enquiry in CSR No.1682 of 2016 is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
