ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) When the petitioner's son namely Premkumar, S/o.Chandrasekar, aged about 28 years, had gone missing from his house, she has given a complaint in this regard, which came to be registered in F.I.R.No.35 of 2025 dated 31.01.2025. Since there was no further progress in the complaint, the petitioner has preferred a present Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's complaint was registered in F.I.R.No.35 of 2025 on 31.01.2025 and that the respondent Police are conducting the investigation to locate the petitioner's son.
3. Since the second respondent Police had registered the petitioner's complaint and are in the process of investigating the same, we deem it fit
that the first and second respondents could be directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report.
4. In view of the above, the prayer sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition does not require consideration. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the first and second respondents herein, to expedite the investigation in F.I.R.No.35 of 2025 and file a final report, as expeditiously as possible.
5. With the above direction, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. No costs.
