O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, directing the respondent to register a case, based on the complaint given by her dated 13.11.2015.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint to the respondent as early as on 13.10.2009, but, however, the respondent police had not taken any steps to register a case and hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that no such complaint is pending before the respondent police. He further submitted that according to the petitioner, the complaint has been given in the year 2009 and already six years have been over and hence, he prays for dismissal of this petition.

4. Considering the submissions made on either side and also on perusal of the typed set of papers, I do not find any reason to give a direction to the respondent police to register an FIR. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as devoid of merits.
