Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent forthwith to forbear the first respondent, their men, agents or servants or anybody acting under or in trust for him in any manner proceeding with further demolition or any other activity in the premises at Door No.24/1, Parasuraman Street, Perambur Barracks Road, Chennai-600 012 without placing proper protective measures for the safety of the existing building / structure in Door No.24/2 so that the property of the petitioner do not suffer any damage due to any such activity of the second respondent.

O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed for a direction forbearing the first respondent in any way proceeding with further demolition of the property at Door No.24/1, Parasuraman Street, Perambur Barracks Road, Chennai-600 012 without placing proper protective measures for the safety of the existing building / structure in Door No.24/2 so that the property of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner do not suffer any damage due to any such activity of the second respondent.

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the respondents that the building in dispute had already collapsed on 21.11.2015 during the monsoon and the learned counsel has also produced photographs for verification of this Court.

3. In the light of the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
