ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Ms.R.A.Monalisa, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respon Nos.1, 2 and 4 to 12 and Mr.NRR.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader for respondent Nos.3 and 14.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that encroachment exists in S.No.34/12, Town Survey No.8, Block No.15, Ward T, Palapatty Main Road, Salem West Taluk. The said land is in the name of the temple.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader for the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department submits that the encroachment has been removed on 08.02.2023. Photographs to that effect are also produced. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for H.R. & C.E. that the land has been retrieved. In view of the above, the purpose of the writ petition stands served. The writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
