O R D E R

The prayer in the writ petition is for issuing a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to send the last drawn pay certificate and service register of the writ petitioners to the fourth respondent based on the request submitted by the petitioners on 20.02.2012.

2. It is seen from the records that on the very day of submitting the representation, the District Designated Officer (FSSA), Chennai District, Annasalai, Chennai - 600 006 has submitted a report to the Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai, through his Proceedings R.No.0012/FSSA/CH/S1/2012, dated 20.02.2012, requesting to produce the last pay certificate and service register for the purpose of paying salary to the petitioners, who have been transferred and joined on 29.09.2011 as Food Safety Officers. Till date the last pay certificate and service register of the writ petitioners are not furnished by the first respondent to the fourth respondent.

3. In view of the said communication issued by the fourth respondent to the first respondent as early as on 20.02.2012, Ms.Karthika Ashok, learned standing counsel for the Corporation, is directed to take notice.

*4. considering the facts and circumstances of the case the first respondent is directed to forward the last pay certificate and service register of the petitioners to R4 within a period of two weeks, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected MP is closed. Sd/- Asst.Registrar.
