O R D E R

The order of suspension issued against the writ petitioner in proceedings dated 23.9.2013, by the respondents, on the eve of retirement of the writ petitioner, is under challenge in this writ petition.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner states that the writ petitioner was working as Forest Range Officer and on account of the registration of a criminal case, he was placed under suspension on the eve of his retirement.

3. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner states that the criminal case registered against the writ petitioner ended https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

with an order of conviction and against that order, the writ petitioner preferred a criminal appeal and the same is pending.

4. Based on the order of conviction, the Department has issued an order of termination under the Rules and therefore, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
